Visitor Information Program (VIP)
Docent Tours

The UA Alumni Association in conjunction with the Office of Community Relations offer free guided tours of the UA campus by Visitor Center staff or docents who themselves are alumni.

Initiated in 1995, the Visitor Information Program (VIP) enhances the concept of a visitor-friendly campus by encouraging people to visit the UA and learn about its history, as well as its future. Visitors learn how the UA came to be and what it is, and come away with a picture of the UA as a modern teaching and research institution that has retained its identity and roots with the community.

Walking tours begin at the UA Visitor Center located at 811 N. Euclid Avenue (northwest corner of University and Euclid). The tours last approximately 1.5 hours and are given every Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. Please follow the below link for more information on signing up, and for the complete Campus Walking Tour schedule for Spring 2008.

Campus shuttle tours also begin at the UA Visitor Center. These tours also last about 1.5 hours and are given the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 A.M. Please follow the below link for more information on signing up, and for the complete Campus Shuttle Tour schedule for Spring 2008.

The University of Arizona Visitor Guide is published twice a year by the Office of University Communications and Arizona Student Media. Its purpose is to provide useful information about The University of Arizona for visitors to our dynamic community.
