• Elections:
  Celina –Secretary
  Leeann- MAL
  Steve C moving to Detroit, MI was treasurer - Steve Smith will take position as new treasurer since he ran at time that Steve was elected was asked to take over rest of term. Andy makes motion to take over for Steves term - Second, motion passes!
  Andy’s term is over at Homecoming 2005
  Mike C will take over at that time so a new VP will need to be elected.
  Pres and VP are the odd terms and everyone else after that.
  Looking for new MAL because Steve S. position open.
  John P and Dave Cole are no longer part of the board.

• Treasures report:
  Balance checking $3754.53, savings $ 1575 change
  Steve and Steve went to bank to do the transfer, Steve S is on everything for monies
  Idea to transfer majority of Checking into savings.
  $100 petty cash
  Want to put money into a certificate (CD’s) to gain some interest. Want to gain some money since we do not use money really till homecoming.
  Steve S will investigate about CD
  Motion to put money into a CD, second, motion passes.
  Steve S will email with definite info about CD

• Merchandise: Need more pins. Thoughts on different things. Key chains, license plate covers, Keefers? Shirts, Sweatshirts, sweatpants, mugs (coffee, steiners), hats. Asked a lot about jackets. Looking to change logo to match the newer logo that is now for the UA.
  Clarissa’s Embroidery – did all of our work before and is an approved UA vendor so she can use all UA logo’s that are approved.
  Kate from marketing Kathi’s friend she will ask about merchandise.

• Rodeo
  Andy will be delivering drinks, he will contact Eve for the the equipment managers to call him to organize delivery

• Secretary
  Quarterly one page email about update on what is going on with us and UA. Generate 4 quarterly emails – one summer hard copy, minimum homecoming hardcopy.
  Work on with all board to get article ideas and write them up.
  Newsletter by end of March.

• Alumni Assoc.
  Wants to see us doing more to raise money for scholarship purposes.
  Mike C.- Phx alumni assoc. is possible to raise mucho money $50G want to help by playing for their gigs that they raise the funds so that we are more of an attraction to the alumni that we will be there. Overall want to help with different groups to raise money, hope the alumni association will recognize that we are trying to help with community awareness and alumni to come out and be more involved.

• Softball pepband?

• Want to work on if we can do more with the Phoenix alumni group to see if we can work with playing with them.
  Andy will contact the Phoenix alumni club to see when their big gig is to see if they would like to have us play.

• Tucson Young alumni – retention conversion deal that they try to keep in touch that will keep them in contact early. Contact girl – Samantha Zipp

• Tucson Alumni Club –

• Yuma Alumni Club 2nd largest group of alumni.

• Kathi has friend that works in marketing can help with contact about ordering new pins and products.

• Andy made up business cards as example, UA alumni assoc. will print up cards for us. 50 per member.

• Elizabeth Ann – Race for the Cure – in April – want to play for the runners – on a Sunday She will find out all info about us playing and being there.

• Put up rule of thumb the UAAB will play for $200, for a charity we waive the fee.
  Playing on campus, depends on the situation and who it is for.

• Gary S - Website – UA Alumni asked that we should make our webpage smaller. So he is working on doing it and that all photos need to be sent to him in the pdf so that he can send it to them that they will load them for us. Want to load pictures of many years but with downsizing it may not happen. Look into getting our own webpage?? Want to keep webpage to keep contact with the Alumni assoc.
