• Attending : Mike Coyle, Kathy Dwyer, Andrew Barcellos, Michelle Stribling, Bryan Pierson, Gary Sawyer, Sheridan Lewis – via phone

• Mike went to Band boosters meeting – Boosters will change how they distribute scholarships from grants to large sums – band dept will have more flexibility to what they spend money one – Bear Down scholarship will try to implement new rules for money.

• Mike – at last meeting – officers will be paid back to become member of the Alumni assoc. – Executive officers only

• Michelle brought newsletters from last year to look at for this year’s newsletter.

• Treasure report : $ 1016.56 balance – all bills paid
  Ordering 12 more lg shirts – have enough merchandise for the next 2 yrs

• Alumni assoc. issue of our tax stuff – IRS were hunting them up – needs Xerox of our stuff and she is happy.

• Homecoming tent – Mike put in for the tent requested the tent next to the band – they stated that where we want the tent there may be construction!

• Tailgate – passes go on sale on August 4th

• Mike talked to Jay about Chipotle – Brad Smith talking to restaurant to order 1 per person – we still pay for water and soda – big expense – want to talk to oasis/sparkles or a corporate sponsor to help with beverages

• Schedule for Friday night – homecoming Nov 10th -12th

  - 8pm bonfire
  - After - possible Gentle Ben’s drink up

• Kathy has rooms reserved at the Union – seats 50 and at Park student union – seats 75 -100 – price difference for room is maybe about 20 dollars – buffet is cheaper – Sonoran Buffet - $20 a head – she will contact the people about the room.

• Band Camp – Starts Aug 12 or 13th – Students dad owns Eegees
  – Celina will talk to David Sussman – to find out about a deal on Eegees for the 16th of Aug

• Tickets for Homecoming – Not going to order tickets for people – Mike will talk to Jay about sitting behind band, or people will have to order on their own – possible

• Format – content – - Board members - Elections - Gigs - Schedule – dinner instead of breakfast - Tickets - Pres welcome - Tailgate info - Sign up sheet – specify check to UAAB
  Can do online payment w/CC through alumni assoc.
  Separate donations from fees
  Deadline at least 3 weeks before homecoming - Keep return mail to Alumni Assoc. – check clearance notification – so we don’t have check showing up late or uncashed

• Alumni picnic – Aug 20th – 11-1 – Andy will bring grill
  Food purchase – Andy will go to Costco to get food
  Tables and chairs, tent – for picnic – Celina and Steve
