Alumni Band Board Meeting
UAAB meeting 6/10/07 UA student union

Meeting called to order at 11:09am
Presidents report
- gigs we have done have gown well, memorial gig went well would like to do more, implement a singer?
- Putting together books with patriotic music, marches? Look at rehearsal before performance
- Gymnastic gig interesting good turn out so it ended up working out.
- Bicycle gig- little early but was really fun maybe not show up as early but would like to do it again.
Treasurer -
Steve went to Chicago store to purchase flip-folders for Memorial Day patriotic music folders. He got the $4.50 folders for $3 and $.50 plastic inserts for $.35. We have 20 extra plastic insets.

Wrote check to Kathy reimbursement for rodeo purchase of granola bars for the band
Old Business -
Homecoming -
- Michelle is looking into changing the food vendor for the lunch instead of doing eegees, years past would spend $430 and we would run out of food. Thinking of finding someone else, even pizza.
- Called a sausage shot place - $600
- Quiznos was the most expensive - $900+
- Pizza hut - $630 total?
- Will talk to Rees about offering sponsorship to compensate. She will speak with him about it and see what he thinks.
- Another option is breakfast food, bagels, fruit, milk, water, granolas, maybe
- Will also meet with Rees about regular game meals too.
Tailgating -
Celina is on the wait list if season pass holders decide they do not want the pass I will be in the next group offered the passes left over. Called the ticket office and they stated that they would start sending out the passes in June, my parents have not seen theirs as of yet so we are still waiting when we do get that pass I will email and let everyone know.

- Use same format from last year easy and quick can take automatic registration and credit card instead of mailing in the form and paying by check.
- Steve will research into online registration
- Going to invest the mail in a box so the registration will be all together instead of having too many folders
Homecoming November 2-4, 2007
- dinner one November 2 at 7pm? be sure to invite Rees and Hanson!!! Any others we should include on the list now? Kathy will contact room registration. Mexican is good.
- game tickets what do we want to do? Bob Kersey emailed about homecoming response to Rees and Mike and mentioned that the band should get free tickets
- Do we want to get a chunk, than have tickets that people will be able to have tickets.
Go to Athletics now and speak to them about tickets Frankie Costa Andy has his number letterman gig contact
- Talk to Alumni about helping out with contact about tickets.

New business
- Tom Neal sent in registration for 2 years and is wondering if we received his check, Steve will look into it with Lori and contact him back about check. Was sent in January.
- Band Camp starts August 11th - Kick off meeting starts at 1pm in Crowder Hall
-Alumni Eve w/ Eegee's August 15th
- Alumni Picnic August 19th 11 5pm Where will we have it? Himmel park? Looking into Bear Down field see if we can get the field for that day. Andy will look into it.
Next meeting will be August 5th at the Union.
